देवदत्तामिमां वीणां स्वरब्रह्मविभूषिताम् । मूर्च्छयित्वा हरिकथां गायमानश्चराम्यहम् ॥ १-६-३३ ॥
And thus I travel, constantly singing the transcendental message of the glories of the Lord, vibrating this instrument called a vīṇā, which is charged with transcendental sound and which was given to me by Lord Kṛṣṇa. ॥ १-६-३३ ॥

और इस तरह मैं भगवान् की महिमा के दिव्य सन्देश का निरन्तर गायन करते हुए और इस वीणा को झंकृत करते हुए विचरण करता रहता हूँ, जो दिव्य ध्वनि से पूरित है और जिसे भगवान् कृष्ण ने मुझे दिया था। ॥ १-६-३३ ॥
