सहस्रयुगपर्यन्त उत्थायेदं सिसृक्षतः । मरीचिमिश्रा ऋषयः प्राणेभ्योऽहं च जज्ञिरे ॥ १-६-३१ ॥
After 4,300,000,000 solar years, when Brahmā awoke to create again by the will of the Lord, all the ṛṣis like Marīci, Aṅgirā, Atri and so on were created from the transcendental body of the Lord, and I also appeared along with them. ॥ 1-6-31 ॥

४,३२,००,००,००० सौर वर्षों के बाद, जब भगवान् की इच्छा से ब्रह्मा पुन: सृष्टि करने के लिए जागे, तो मरीचि, अंगिरा, अत्रि इत्यादि सारे ऋषि भगवान् के दिव्य शरीर से उत्पन्न हुए और उन्हीं के साथ-साथ मैं भी प्रकट हुआ। ॥ १-६-३१ ॥
