तस्मिंस्तदा लब्धरुचेर्महामुने प्रियश्रवस्यास्खलिता मतिर्मम । ययाहमेतत्सदसत्स्वमायया पश्ये मयि ब्रह्मणि कल्पितं परे ।। १-५-२७ ।।

sanskrit

O great sage, as soon as I got a taste of the Personality of Godhead, my attention to hear of the Lord was unflinching. And as my taste developed, I could realize that it was only in my ignorance that I had accepted gross and subtle coverings, for both the Lord and I are transcendental. ।। 1-5-27 ।।

english translation

हे महामुनि, ज्योंही मुझे भगवान् का आस्वाद प्राप्त हुआ, त्योंही मेरा ध्यान भगवान् का श्रवण करने के प्रति अटल हो गया। और ज्योंही मेरी रुचि विकसित हो गई, त्योंही मुझे अनुभव हुआ कि मैंने अज्ञानतावश ही स्थूल तथा सूक्ष्म आवरणों को स्वीकार किया है, क्योंकि भगवान् तथा मैं दोनों ही दिव्य हैं। ।। १-५-२७ ।।

tasmiMstadA labdharucermahAmune priyazravasyAskhalitA matirmama | yayAhametatsadasatsvamAyayA pazye mayi brahmaNi kalpitaM pare || 1-5-27 ||
