भेजिरेमुनयोऽथाग्रे भगवन्तमधोक्षजम् । सत्त्वं विशुद्धं क्षेमाय कल्पन्तेयेऽनुतानिह ।। १-२-२५ ।।

Previously all the great sages rendered service unto the Personality of Godhead due to His existence above the three modes of material nature. They worshiped Him to become free from material conditions and thus derive the ultimate benefit. Whoever follows such great authorities is also eligible for liberation from the material world. ।। 1-2-25 ।।

english translation

पूर्वकाल में समस्त महामुनियों ने भगवान् की सेवा की, क्योंकि वे प्रकृति के तीनों गुणों से परे हैं। उन्होंने भौतिक परिस्थितियों से मुक्त होने के लिए और फलस्वरूप परम लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए पूजा की। अतएव जो कोई इन महामुनियों का अनुसरण करता है वह भी इस भौतिक संसार में मोक्ष का अधिकारी बन जाता है। ।। १-२-२५ ।।
