नष्टप्रायेष्वभद्रेषु नित्यंभागवतसेवया । भगवत्युत्तमश्लोके भक्तिर्भवतिनैष्ठिकी ॥ १-२-१८ ॥

By regularly being of service to the bhâgavata ॥ the pure devotee॥ and the Bhâgavatam, as good as all that is inauspicious will be destroyed and thus serving the Supreme Lord with transcendental prayers, irrevocably loving service will come about. ॥ 1-2-18 ॥

english translation

भागवत की कक्षाओं में नियमित उपस्थित रहने तथा शुद्ध भक्त की सेवा करने से हृदय के सारे दुख लगभग पूर्णत: विनष्ट हो जाते हैं और उन पुण्यश्लोक भगवान् में अटल प्रेमाभक्ति स्थापित हो जाती है, जिनकी प्रशंसा दिव्य गीतों से की जाती है। ॥ १-२-१८ ॥
