नष्टप्रायेष्वभद्रेषु नित्यंभागवतसेवया । भगवत्युत्तमश्लोके भक्तिर्भवतिनैष्ठिकी ।। १-२-१८ ।।

By regularly being of service to the bhâgavata [the pure devotee] and the Bhâgavatam, as good as all that is inauspicious will be destroyed and thus serving the Supreme Lord with transcendental prayers, irrevocably loving service will come about. ।। 1-2-18 ।।

english translation

भागवत की कक्षाओं में नियमित उपस्थित रहने तथा शुद्ध भक्त की सेवा करने से हृदय के सारे दुख लगभग पूर्णत: विनष्ट हो जाते हैं और उन पुण्यश्लोक भगवान् में अटल प्रेमाभक्ति स्थापित हो जाती है, जिनकी प्रशंसा दिव्य गीतों से की जाती है। ।। १-२-१८ ।।
