Srimad Bhagavatam
अभूतपूर्वः सहसा क्षुत्तृट्भ्यामर्दितात्मनः । ब्राह्मणं प्रत्यभूद्ब्रह्मन् मत्सरो मन्युरेव च ॥ १-१८-२९ ॥
O brāhmaṇas, the circumstances having distressed him with extreme hunger and thirst, the King directed toward the sage his anger and envy, which he had never before directed toward a brāhmaṇa. ॥ 1-18-29 ॥
english translation
हे ब्राह्मणों, ब्राह्मण मुनि के प्रति राजा का क्रोध तथा द्वेष अभूतपूर्व था, क्योंकि परिस्थितियों ने उन्हें भूखे तथा प्यासे बना दिये थे। ॥ १-१८-२९ ॥
