Srimad Bhagavatam
यथा क्रीडोपस्कराणां संयोगविगमाविह । इच्छया क्रीडितुः स्यातां तथैवेशेच्छया नृणाम् ॥ १-१३-४२ ॥
As a player sets up and disperses his playthings according to his own sweet will, so the supreme will of the Lord brings men together and separates them. ॥ 1-13-42 ॥
english translation
जिस प्रकार खिलाड़ी अपनी इच्छानुसार खिलौनों को सजाता तथा बिगाड़ता है, उसी तरह भगवान् की परम इच्छा मनुष्यों को पास-पास लाती है और उन्हें विलग भी करती है। ॥ १-१३-४२ ॥
