येन चैवाभिपन्नोऽयं प्राणैः प्रियतमैरपि । जनः सद्यो वियुज्येत किमुतान्यैर्धनादिभिः ।। १-१३-२० ।।

sanskrit

Whoever is under the influence of supreme kāla [eternal time] must surrender his most dear life, and what to speak of other things, such as wealth, honor, children, land and home.।। 1-13-20 ।।

english translation

जो भी सर्वोपरि काल (शाश्वत समय) के प्रभाव में है, उसे अपना सबसे प्रिय जीवन काल को अर्पित करना पड़ता है, अन्य वस्तुओं यथा धन, सम्मान, सन्तान, भूमि तथा घर का तो कुछ कहना ही नहीं। ।। १-१३-२० ।।

yena caivAbhipanno'yaM prANaiH priyatamairapi | janaH sadyo viyujyeta kimutAnyairdhanAdibhiH || 1-13-20 ||
