Srimad Bhagavatam
एतदीशनमीशस्य प्रकृतिस्थोऽपि तद्गुणैः । न युज्यते सदाऽऽत्मस्थैर्यथा ॥ १-११-३८ ॥
This is the divinity of the Personality of Godhead: He is not affected by the qualities of material nature, even though He is in contact with them. Similarly, the devotees who have taken shelter of the Lord do not become influenced by the material qualities. ॥ 1-11-38 ॥
english translation
यह तो भगवान् की अलौकिकता है कि वे भौतिक प्रकृति के गुणों के संसर्ग में रहते हुए भी उनसे प्रभावित नहीं होते। इसी प्रकार जिन भक्तों ने भगवान् की शरण ग्रहण कर ली है, वे भी भौतिक गुणों से प्रभावित नहीं होते। ॥ १-११-३८ ॥
