आपन्नःसंसृतिं घोरां यन्नामविवशोगृणन् । ततःसद्योविमुच्येत यद्बिभेतिस्वयंभयम् ।। १-१-१४ ।।

sanskrit

Living beings who are entangled in the complicated meshes of birth and death can be freed immediately by even unconsciously chanting the holy name of Kṛṣṇa, which is feared by fear personified. ।। 1-1-14 ।।

english translation

जन्म तथा मृत्यु के जाल में उलझे हुए जीव, यदि अनजाने में भी कृष्ण के पवित्र नाम का उच्चारण करते हैं, तो तुरन्त मुक्त हो जाते हैं, क्योंकि साक्षात् भय भी इससे (नाम से) भयभीत रहता है। ।। १-१-१४ ।।
