Shiva Purana
वज्रतंदुलवज्ज्ञेयं तथा पापेन योगिनः ॥ न लिप्यंते च तापौघैः पद्मपत्रं यथांभसा ॥ ४२ ॥
It is to be understood as a thunderbolt and a dustbin, and so it is to be understood by the sinful yogi. They are not covered by the floods of heat just as a lotus leaf is not covered by water.
english translation
vajrataMdulavajjJeyaM tathA pApena yoginaH ॥ na lipyaMte ca tApaughaiH padmapatraM yathAMbhasA ॥ 42 ॥
