ततो मूलेन मूर्धादिपीठांतं संस्पृशेदपि ॥ पूजां च महतीं कुर्याद्देवमावाह्य पूर्ववत् ॥ ६९ ॥
Beginning from the head and ending with the pedestal, the Liṅga shall be touched repeating the basic mantra. The great worship shall be performed after invoking the lord as before.
