Shiva Purana
महार्थं मंत्ररत्नं च तथैव सकलाः कलाः ॥ दंडवत्प्रणतिं कृत्वा देवदेवस्य पादयोः ॥ ८० ॥
The great meaning is the gem of mantras and so are all the arts. He bowed down at the feet of the god of gods like a rod.
english translation
mahArthaM maMtraratnaM ca tathaiva sakalAH kalAH ॥ daMDavatpraNatiM kRtvA devadevasya pAdayoH ॥ 80 ॥
