अर्थमेतमविज्ञाय रजसा बद्धवैरयोः ॥ युवयोः प्रतिबोधाय मध्ये लिंगमुपस्थितम् ॥ ५१ ॥
Not understanding the meaning of this, the two men were bound by passion and enmity. Linga has appeared in the middle of you two to awaken you.
english translation
एवमोमिति मां प्राहुर्यदिहोक्तमथर्वणा ॥ ऋचो यजूंषि सामानि शाखाश्चान्याः सहस्रशः ॥ ५२ ॥
Whatever is said here by the Atharva Veda is called 'Evamo' The Ṛg Veda, the Yajur Veda, the Sama Veda and thousands of other branches.
english translation
वेदेष्वेवं स्वयं वक्त्रैर्व्यक्तमित्यवदत्स्वपि ॥ स्वप्नानुभूतमिव तत्ताभ्यां नाध्यवसीयते ॥ ५३ ॥
Although he himself said that this was manifest in the Vedas with his own mouth. It is not determined by these two things as if it were experienced in a dream.

तयोस्तत्र प्रबोधाय तमोपनयनाय च ॥ लिंगेपि मुद्रितं सर्वं यथा वेदैरुदाहृतम् ॥ ५४ ॥
In order to enlighten them and to remove their ignorance the statement of the Vedas was inscribed in the Liṅga too.
english translation
तद्दृष्ट्वा मुद्रितं लिंगे प्रसादाल्लिंगिनस्तदा ॥ प्रशांतमनसौ देवौ प्रबुद्धौ संबभूवतुः ॥ ५५ ॥
On seeing that inscribed in the Liṅga due to the favour of Śiva the deities were pacified and enlightened.
