समृद्धिकामो जुहुयान्महादारिद्र्यशांतये ॥ जातीपुष्पेण वश्यार्थी जुहुयात्सघृतेन तु ॥ ४६ ॥
One who desires prosperity should offer oblations to the Lord to appease great poverty. One seeking submission should offer oblations with jati flowers and ghee.
english translation
घृतेन करवीरैश्च कुर्यादाकर्षणं द्विजः ॥ तैलेनोच्चाटनं कुर्यात्स्तंभनं मधुना पुनः ॥ ४७ ॥
A Brahman shall perform the rite of Ākarṣaṇa with ghee and Karavīra flowers, Uccāṭana with oil and Stambhana with honey.
english translation
स्तंभनं सर्षपेणापि लशुनेन तु पातनम् ॥ ताडनं रुधिरेण स्यात्खरस्योष्ट्रस्य चोभयोः ॥ ४८ ॥
Stambhana rite can be performed with mustard also; Pātana with garlic; Tāḍana with the blood of mule, camel or of both.
english translation
मारणोच्चाटने कुर्याद्रोहिबीजैस्तिलान्वितैः ॥ विद्वेषणं च तैलेन कुर्याल्लांगलकस्य तु ॥ ४९ ॥
Māraṇa and Uccāṭana shall be performed with Rohi and gingelly seeds. Vidveṣaṇa rite shall be performed with the oil of Lāṅgala.
english translation
बंधनं रोहिबीजेन सेनास्तंभनमेव च ॥ रक्तसर्षपसंमिश्रैर्होमद्रव्यैरशेषतः ॥ ५० ॥
The army was bound by the seed of Rohi and stabbed. The remainder of the sacrificial ingredients mixed with red mustard seeds.
