Shiva Purana
अर्धार्धचरितो यस्तु देही देहक्षयात्परम् ॥ अंडांतं वोर्ध्वमव्यक्तमतीत्य भुवनद्वयम् ॥ २३ ॥
After the destruction of the body, the embodied soul lives half his life. The end of the egg is upwards and the unmanifest is transcended by the two worlds.
