Shiva Purana
निवेदितं च वा देवे तच्छेषं चात्मशुद्धये ॥ श्रद्दधानो न लोभेन न चण्डाय समर्पितम् ॥ ६६ ॥
Or offer the remainder of the offering to the Lord for self-purification. He was faithful and not greedy nor offered to the fierce.
english translation
niveditaM ca vA deve taccheSaM cAtmazuddhaye ॥ zraddadhAno na lobhena na caNDAya samarpitam ॥ 66 ॥
