लाजांस्तथा सर्षपांश्च यवांश्चैव तिलांस्तथा ॥ सर्पिषाक्तानि भक्ष्याणि लेह्यचोष्याणि सम्भवे ॥ ३१ ॥
Fried grains, mustard seeds, barleys, gingelly seeds, foodstuffs soaked in ghee etc. shall be offered if possible.
english translation
lAjAMstathA sarSapAMzca yavAMzcaiva tilAMstathA ॥ sarpiSAktAni bhakSyANi lehyacoSyANi sambhave ॥ 31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदशैवाहुतयस्तत्र पञ्च वा त्रितयं च वा ॥ होतव्याः शक्तितो दद्यादेकमेवाथ वाहुतिम् ॥ ३२ ॥
The number of Āhutis shall be ten, five or three according to capacity. It is enough even if one Āhuti is made.
english translation
dazaivAhutayastatra paJca vA tritayaM ca vA ॥ hotavyAH zaktito dadyAdekamevAtha vAhutim ॥ 32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्रुवेणाज्यं समित्याद्यास्रुचाशेषात्करेण वा ॥ तत्र दिव्येन होतव्यं तीर्थेनार्षेण वा तथा ॥ ३३ ॥
The butter shall be offered with the wooden spoon and the articles with the wooden ladle or with hand. The Homa shall be performed at the divine or saintly spot.
english translation
zruveNAjyaM samityAdyAsrucAzeSAtkareNa vA ॥ tatra divyena hotavyaM tIrthenArSeNa vA tathA ॥ 33 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्रव्येणैकेन वा ऽलाभे जुहुयाच्छ्रद्धया पुनः ॥ प्रायश्चित्ताय जुहुयान्मंत्रयित्वाहुतित्रयम् ॥ ३४ ॥
If full articles are not available only one material shall be offered with devotion. As an expiation he shall perform three Āhutis repeating the mantra.

dravyeNaikena vA 'lAbhe juhuyAcchraddhayA punaH ॥ prAyazcittAya juhuyAnmaMtrayitvAhutitrayam ॥ 34 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो होमविशिष्टेन घृतेनापूर्य वै स्रुचम् ॥ निधाय पुष्पं तस्याग्रे श्रुवेणाधोमुखेन ताम् ॥ ३५ ॥
