स्थाने शिलामये दांते दारवे चेष्टकामये ॥ केवलं मृन्मये वापि पुण्यारण्ये ऽथ वा गिरौ ॥ ४६ ॥
In a place made of stone, toothed, wooden, and desirable. Only in a clay pot or in a holy forest or on a mountain.

नद्यां देवालये ऽन्यत्र देशे वाथ गृहे शुभे ॥ आढ्यो वाथ दरिद्रो वा स्वकां शक्तिमवंचयन् ॥ द्रव्यैर्न्यायार्जितैरेव भक्त्या देवं समर्चयेत् ॥ ४७ ॥
Whether it is in a river, in a temple, in another place, or in an auspicious house. Whether rich or poor, he cheated his own power. One should worship the Lord with devotion with the objects earned by justice.

अथान्यायार्जितैश्चापि भक्त्या चेच्छिवमर्चयेत् ॥ न तस्य प्रत्यवायो ऽस्ति भाववश्यो यतः प्रभुः ॥ ४८ ॥
Then one should worship Lord Śiva with devotion, even if he has earned it by righteous means. There is no countermeasure to that because the Lord is subject to emotion.

न्यायार्जितैरपि द्रव्यैरभक्त्या पूजयेद्यदि ॥ न तत्फलमवाप्नोति भक्तिरेवात्र कारणम् ॥ ४९ ॥
If one worships the Lord with devotion even with the objects earned by justice, He does not attain that fruit but devotion alone is the cause of this.

भक्त्या वित्तानुसारेण शिवमुद्दिश्य यत्कृतम् ॥ अल्पे महति वा तुल्यं फलमाढ्यदरिद्रयोः ॥ ५० ॥
The benefit of even a little or a great service rendered by a poor or a rich man, according to the affluence, to Śiva with devotion is the same.
