तदा शिवमविज्ञाय दुःखस्यांतो भविष्यति ॥ ७१ ॥
Then the end of suffering will come without knowing Shiva.
english translation
तपःप्रभावाद्देवस्य प्रसादाच्च महर्षयः ॥ अत्याश्रमोचितज्ञानं पवित्रं पापनाशनम् ॥ ७२ ॥
By the power of his austerities and by the grace of the god the great sages Knowledge appropriate to the most austere is pure and destroys sins.
english translation
वेदांते परमं गुह्यं पुराकल्पप्रचोदितम् ॥ ब्रह्मणो वदनाल्लब्धं मयेदं भाग्यगौरवात् ॥ ७३ ॥
This is the supreme mystery of the Vedānta, inspired by the Purāṇas. I have received this from the mouth of Brahma out of great fortune.
english translation
नाप्रशांताय दातव्यमेतज्ज्ञानमनुत्तमम् ॥ न पुत्रायाशुवृत्ताय नाशिष्याय च सर्वथा ॥ ७४ ॥
This excellent knowledge shall not be delivered to one who is not quiet, nor to a son who is not well behaved nor to one who is not one’s own disciple.
english translation
यस्य देवे पराभक्तिर्यथा देवे तथा गुरौ ॥ तस्यैते कथिताह्यर्थाः प्रकाशंते महात्मनः ॥ ७५ ॥
These facts reveal to him who is of noble soul, who has great devotion to the lord and to the preceptor in the form of Śiva.
