क्षरं त्वविद्या ह्यमृतं विद्येति परिगीयते ॥ ते उभे ईशते यस्तु सो ऽन्यः खलु महेश्वरः ॥ ४३ ॥

sanskrit

Avidyā is perishable while Vidyā is imperishable. He who rules over the two is lord Śiva. He is other than the two.

english translation

kSaraM tvavidyA hyamRtaM vidyeti parigIyate ॥ te ubhe Izate yastu so 'nyaH khalu mahezvaraH ॥ 43 ॥
