Shiva Purana
पार्श्वोदरोरुजंघेषु पादयोः पृष्ठतस्तथा ॥ इत्थं प्रणवविन्यासं कृत्वा न्यासविचक्षणः ॥ ३८ ॥
They also appeared on the sides, abdomen, thighs, thighs, legs and back. Having thus arranged the oṁkāra, one who is skilled in the practice of renunciation.
english translation
pArzvodarorujaMgheSu pAdayoH pRSThatastathA ॥ itthaM praNavavinyAsaM kRtvA nyAsavicakSaNaH ॥ 38 ॥
