परिधाय द्विराचम्य प्रोक्ष्यैकादशमन्त्रितैः ॥ जलैराच्छाद्य वासो ऽयद्द्विराचम्य शिवं स्मरेत् ॥ ३१ ॥
After dressing herself, she washed herself twice and sprinkled herself with eleven mantras. Cover the clothes with water and wash them twice and remember Lord Śiva.

पुनर्न्यस्तकरो मन्त्री त्रिपुंड्रं भस्मना लिखेत् ॥ अवक्रमाय तं व्यक्तं ललाटे गन्धवारिणा ॥ ३२ ॥
He shall perform Karanyāsa again and repeating the mantra he shall apply the Tripuṇḍra marks. On the forehead the marks shall be clear, broad and straight. Scented water shall be used to paste the Bhasma.

वृत्तं वा चतुरस्रं वा बिन्दुमर्धेन्दुमेव वा ॥ ललाटे यादृशं पुण्ड्रं लिखितं भस्मना पुनः ॥ ३३ ॥
It may be a circle or a square or a dot or a half moon. The kind of puddle on his forehead that was written again with ashes.

तादृशं भुजयोर्मूर्ध्नि स्तनयोरंतरे लिखेत् ॥ सर्वांगोद्धूलनं चैव न समानं त्रिपुण्ड्रकैः ॥ ३४ ॥
Write such a sign on the top of the arms between the breasts. Lifting all the limbs is not the same as the tripundrakas.

तस्मात्त्रिपुण्ड्रमेवैकं लिखेदुद्धूलनं विना ॥ रुद्राक्षान्धारयेद्मूर्ध्नि कंठे श्रोते करे तथा ॥ ३५ ॥
Hence it is better to have Tripuṇḍras above without dusting. He shall wear Rudrākṣa beads on the head, round the neck, in the ears and hands.
