उत्क्षिपेदम्बरस्थाय शिवायादित्यमूर्तये ॥ कृत्वा पुनः करन्यासं करशोधनपूर्वकम् ॥ २८ ॥

One should throw it at Lord Śiva, who is situated in the sky and who is the sun-god. Having placed the hands again before cleaning the hands.

utkSipedambarasthAya zivAyAdityamUrtaye ॥ kRtvA punaH karanyAsaM karazodhanapUrvakam ॥ 28 ॥
