निवृत्तिं पुरतो न्यस्य प्रतिष्ठां पश्चिमे घटे ॥ विद्यां दक्षिणतः शांतिमुत्तरे मध्यतः पराम् ॥ ३ ॥

sanskrit

Nivṛtti Kalā shall be installed in the vessel in the east, Pratiṣṭhā Kalā in the vessel in the west; Vidyā Kalā in the south. Śānti Kalā in the north and the Parā Kalā in the middle.

english translation

nivRttiM purato nyasya pratiSThAM pazcime ghaTe ॥ vidyAM dakSiNataH zAMtimuttare madhyataH parAm ॥ 3 ॥
