सूत्रदेहे ऽथ शिष्यस्य ताडनप्रोक्षणादिकम् ॥ कृत्वात्मानं समादाय द्वादशांते निवेद्य च ॥ ९ ॥

Then, on the body of the thread, the disciple was beaten and sprinkled with water. Having made himself ready he presented himself at the end of the twelfth day.

sUtradehe 'tha ziSyasya tADanaprokSaNAdikam ॥ kRtvAtmAnaM samAdAya dvAdazAMte nivedya ca ॥ 9 ॥
