वौषडंतेन मूलेन पुनः प्रक्षाल्य कर्तरीम् ॥ हस्ते शिष्यस्य चैतन्यं तद्देहे विनिवर्तयेत् ॥ ४० ॥

sanskrit

Then with the basic mantra ending with Vauṣaṭ he shall wash the scissors and hands. He shall restore the consciousness of the disciple to his body.

english translation

vauSaDaMtena mUlena punaH prakSAlya kartarIm ॥ haste ziSyasya caitanyaM taddehe vinivartayet ॥ 40 ॥
