देवानां जातयश्चाष्टौ तिरश्चां पञ्च जातयः ॥ जात्यैकया च मानुष्या योनयश्च चतुर्दश ॥ ११ ॥
The living beings are fourteen in number: the eight types of the gods, five types of the lower animals and birds, and human beings forming one type.
english translation
तासु सर्वासु युगपत्प्रवेशाय शिशोर्धिया ॥ वागीशान्यां यथान्यायं शिष्यात्मानं निवेशयेत् ॥ १२ ॥
In order to facilitate the simultaneous entry into all of them, he shall deposit the Ātman of the disciple along with his mind into Vāgīśānī duly.
english translation
गर्भनिष्पत्तये देवं संपूज्य प्रणिपत्य च ॥ हुत्वा चैव यथान्यायं निष्पन्नं तदनुस्मरेत् ॥ १३ ॥
For the accomplishment of the spiritual knowledge he shall worship and bow to the lord. After performing the homa he shall remember it as developed.
english translation
निष्पन्नस्यैवमुत्पत्तिमनुवृत्तिं च कर्मणा ॥ आर्जवं भोगनिष्पत्तिः कुर्यात्प्रीतिं परां तथा ॥ १४ ॥
He shall duly perform the mystical rites of nativity, the pursuit of previous actions, straightforwardness and the great pleasure of enjoyment.

निष्कृत्यर्थं च जात्यायुर्भोगसंस्कारसिद्धये ॥ हुत्वाहुतित्रयं देवं प्रार्थयेद्देशिकोत्तमः ॥ १५ ॥
For the sake of redemption and the achievement of birth, longevity, enjoyment and purificatory impressions, the preceptor shall perform three Āhutis and pray to the lord.
