तद्वज्रं निजवज्रेण संसृष्टमिव सर्वतः ॥ तृणेनाभिहतं तेन तिर्यगग्रं पपात ह ॥ ५१ ॥
The thunderbolt coming into contact with the grass appeared to clash with a steel and fell aside.
english translation
ततश्चान्ये सुसंरब्धा लोकपाला महाबलाः ॥ ससृजुस्तृणमुद्दिश्य स्वायुधानि सहस्रशः ॥ ५२ ॥
Then the guardians of the quarters and the worlds, of great strength exerted themselves and hurled thousands of their weapons at the grass-blade.
english translation
प्रजज्ज्वाल महावह्निः प्रचंडः पवनो ववौ ॥ प्रवृद्धो ऽपांपतिर्यद्वत्प्रलये समुपस्थिते ॥ ५३ ॥
The great fire blazed, the fìerce wind blew and the lord of the waters swelled as if the hour of dissolution had arrived.
english translation
एवं देवैस्समारब्धं तृणमुद्दिश्य यत्नतः ॥ व्यर्थमासीदहो कृष्ण यक्षस्यात्मबलेन वै ॥ ५४ ॥
Thus everything initiated by the gods strenuously against the grass was a flop. O Kṛṣṇa, it was due to the power of that Yakṣa alone.

तदाह यक्षं देवेंद्रः को भवानित्यमर्षितः ॥ ततस्स पश्यतामेव तेषामंतरधादथ ॥ ५५ ॥
Then the infuriated lord of go is asked the Yakṣa, “Who are you, sir?” Then even as they were watching, the Yakṣa vanished.
