कालः पालयते विश्वं कालकालस्य शासनात् ॥ त्रिभिरंशैर्जगद्बिभ्रत्तेजोभिर्वृष्टिमादिशन् ॥ ३६ ॥
Time rules the universe under the control of time. They carried the universe in three parts and ordered rain with their effulgence.

kAlaH pAlayate vizvaM kAlakAlasya zAsanAt ॥ tribhiraMzairjagadbibhrattejobhirvRSTimAdizan ॥ 36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदिवि वर्षत्यसौ भानुर्देवदेवस्य शासनात् ॥ पुष्णात्योषधिजातानि भूतान्याह्लादयत्यपि ॥ ३७ ॥
By the command of Lord Śiva, the sun-god is raining down rain in the sky. It nourishes and cheers all living beings born of herbs.

divi varSatyasau bhAnurdevadevasya zAsanAt ॥ puSNAtyoSadhijAtAni bhUtAnyAhlAdayatyapi ॥ 37 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवैश्च पीयते चंद्रश्चन्द्रभूषणशासनात् ॥ आदित्या वसवो रुद्रा अश्विनौ मरुतस्तथा ॥ ३८ ॥
The moon is also drunk by the demigods because of the command of the moon-ornament. The suns, the Vasus, the Rudras, the Aśvinī-kumāras and the Maruts.

devaizca pIyate caMdrazcandrabhUSaNazAsanAt ॥ AdityA vasavo rudrA azvinau marutastathA ॥ 38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptखेचरा ऋषयस्सिद्धा भोगिनो मनुजा मृगाः ॥ पशवः पक्षिणश्चैव कीटाद्याः स्थावराणि च ॥ ३९ ॥
The sages who fly in the sky the siddhas the enjoyers human beings and animals Animals birds insects and other living things.

khecarA RSayassiddhA bhogino manujA mRgAH ॥ pazavaH pakSiNazcaiva kITAdyAH sthAvarANi ca ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनद्यस्समुद्रा गिरयः काननानि सरांसि च ॥ वेदाः सांगाश्च शास्त्राणि मंत्रस्तोममखादयः ॥ ४० ॥
Rivers seas mountains forests and lakes The Vedas, the Sangas, the scriptures, the mantras, the stomas, the sacrifices and so on.

nadyassamudrA girayaH kAnanAni sarAMsi ca ॥ vedAH sAMgAzca zAstrANi maMtrastomamakhAdayaH ॥ 40 ॥
