Shiva Purana
शिवशास्त्रप्रवक्तृत्वमपि तस्य हि तत्कृतम् ॥ कुमारो मुनितो लब्धज्ञानाब्धिरिव नन्दनः ॥ ९ ॥
His ability to propound the Śivaśāstra was also derived from the lord. He rejoiced in attaining the ocean of knowledge from the sage.
english translation
zivazAstrapravaktRtvamapi tasya hi tatkRtam ॥ kumAro munito labdhajJAnAbdhiriva nandanaH ॥ 9 ॥
