Shiva Purana
घृताक्तो यश्चरेदेतद्व्रतं व्रतपरायणः ॥ द्वित्रैकदिवसं वापि स च कश्चन नैष्ठिकः ॥ ८८ ॥
A person who applies ghee over his body and performs the rite with devout feelings even for two or three clays is also a Naiṣṭhika.
english translation
ghRtAkto yazcaredetadvrataM vrataparAyaNaH ॥ dvitraikadivasaM vApi sa ca kazcana naiSThikaH ॥ 88 ॥
