तया तु नौ वधः संख्ये तस्यां कामाभिभूतयोः ॥ इति चाभ्यर्थितो ब्रह्मा ताभ्याम्प्राह तथास्त्विति ॥ २७ ॥

sanskrit

She killed us in battle, both of us overcome by lust. Thus requested by them Brahma said to them, "So be it.

english translation

tayA tu nau vadhaH saMkhye tasyAM kAmAbhibhUtayoH ॥ iti cAbhyarthito brahmA tAbhyAmprAha tathAstviti ॥ 27 ॥
