Shiva Purana
निर्गते ऽपि मुनौ तस्मिन्देवा दक्षं न तत्यजुः ॥ अवश्यमनुभावित्वादनर्थस्य तु भाविनः ॥ २२ ॥
Even when the sage walked out, the gods did not leave Dakṣa in view of the inevitability of the disaster that was to take place.

nirgate 'pi munau tasmindevA dakSaM na tatyajuH ॥ avazyamanubhAvitvAdanarthasya tu bhAvinaH ॥ 22 ॥
