प्रकृतीनां परश्चैव पुरुषस्य च यः परः ॥ चिंत्यते योगविद्वद्भि ऋषिभिस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः ॥ १६ ॥
He is beyond all Prakṛtis and Puruṣa. He is meditated upon by Yogic scholars, sages and the seers of truthful principles.
english translation
prakRtInAM parazcaiva puruSasya ca yaH paraH ॥ ciMtyate yogavidvadbhi RSibhistattvadarzibhiH ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअक्षरं परमं ब्रह्म ह्यसच्च सदसच्च यत् ॥ अनादिमध्यनिधनमप्रतर्क्यं सनातनम् ॥ १७ ॥
He is the imperishable great Brahman, the Sat-Asat and Asat; devoid of beginning, middle and end, incomprehensible and eternal.
english translation
akSaraM paramaM brahma hyasacca sadasacca yat ॥ anAdimadhyanidhanamapratarkyaM sanAtanam ॥ 17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयः स्रष्टा चैव संहर्ता भर्ता चैव महेश्वरः ॥ तस्मादन्यं न पश्यामि शंकरात्मानमध्वरे ॥ १८ ॥
He is the creator, sustainer, and annihilator. I do not see any one else in the form of Śiva in the sacrifice.
english translation
yaH sraSTA caiva saMhartA bhartA caiva mahezvaraH ॥ tasmAdanyaM na pazyAmi zaMkarAtmAnamadhvare ॥ 18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदक्ष उवाच ॥ एतन्मखेशस्य सुवर्णपात्रे हविः समस्तं विधिमंत्रपूतम् ॥ विष्णोर्नयाम्यप्रतिमस्य भागं प्रभोर्विभज्यावहनीयमद्य ॥ १९ ॥
Dakṣa said:— I offer this Caru in the golden vessel, sanctified by mantras, after assigning the share to Viṣṇu the lord of sacrifice.
english translation
dakSa uvAca ॥ etanmakhezasya suvarNapAtre haviH samastaM vidhimaMtrapUtam ॥ viSNornayAmyapratimasya bhAgaM prabhorvibhajyAvahanIyamadya ॥ 19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदधीच उवाच ॥ यस्मान्नाराधितो रुद्रस्सर्वदेवेश्वरेश्वरः ॥ तस्माद्दक्ष तवाशेषो यज्ञो ऽयं न भविष्यति ॥ २० ॥
Dadhīca said:— “O Dakṣa, since Rudra the lord of the chief of the gods is not propitiated your sacrifice will not be efficacious.”
english translation
dadhIca uvAca ॥ yasmAnnArAdhito rudrassarvadevezvarezvaraH ॥ tasmAddakSa tavAzeSo yajJo 'yaM na bhaviSyati ॥ 20 ॥
