विद्याचौरो गुरुद्रोही वेदेश्वरविदूषकः ॥ त एते बहुपाप्मानस्सर्वे दंड्या इति श्रुतिः ॥ ४७ ॥

sanskrit

The Śruti says that these are great sinners—viz. a stealer of learning, a traitor to the preceptor and an insulter of the Vedas and of the god. They deserve to be punished.

english translation

vidyAcauro gurudrohI vedezvaravidUSakaH ॥ ta ete bahupApmAnassarve daMDyA iti zrutiH ॥ 47 ॥
