Shiva Purana
तथाप्यन्योन्यमात्सर्यादन्योन्यातिशयाशिनः ॥ तपसा तोषयित्वा स्वं पितरं परमेश्वरम् ॥ १६ ॥
Yet they were envious of one another and ate excessively for one another. Having satisfied his father the Supreme Lord by his austerities.
