सर्व तत्त्वविधानज्ञः सर्वतत्त्वार्थदर्शनः ।। स एव भगवान्देवः प्रधानपुरुषेश्वरः ।। ६६।।

sanskrit

That great lord alone is the knower of well-ordained principles, the direct perceiver of all true objects and the lord of Prakṛti and Puruṣa.

english translation

sarva tattvavidhAnajJaH sarvatattvArthadarzanaH || sa eva bhagavAndevaH pradhAnapuruSezvaraH || 66||

यो निजाद्दक्षिणात्पार्श्वाद्ब्रह्माणं लोककारणम्।। वामादप्यसृजद्विष्णुं लोकरक्षार्थमीश्वरः ।। ६७।।

sanskrit

It was he who created, for the protection of the worlds, Brahmā, the cause of the worlds, from his right hand and Viṣṇu from the left hand side.

english translation

yo nijAddakSiNAtpArzvAdbrahmANaM lokakAraNam|| vAmAdapyasRjadviSNuM lokarakSArthamIzvaraH || 67||

कल्पान्ते चैव संप्राप्तेऽसृजद्रुद्रं हृदः प्रभुः ।। ततस्समहरत्कृत्स्नं जगत्स्थावरजंगमम् ।। ६८।।

sanskrit

When the Kalpa came to an end, the lord created Rudra from his heart. Then he annihilated the universe including the mobile and immobile beings.

english translation

kalpAnte caiva saMprApte'sRjadrudraM hRdaH prabhuH || tatassamaharatkRtsnaM jagatsthAvarajaMgamam || 68||

युगांते सर्वभूतानि संवर्तक इवानलः ।। कालो भूत्वा महादेवो ग्रसमानस्स तिष्ठति ।। ६९।।

sanskrit

At the end of Yugas, lord Śiva becomes Kāla and stands devouring all the living beings, like the fire of dissolution Saṃvartaka.

english translation

yugAMte sarvabhUtAni saMvartaka ivAnalaH || kAlo bhUtvA mahAdevo grasamAnassa tiSThati || 69||

सर्वज्ञस्सर्वभूतात्मा सवर्भूतभवोद्भवः ।। आस्ते सर्वगतो देवो दृश्यस्सर्वैश्च दैवतैः ।। ७०।।

sanskrit

The lord is omniscient, the soul and the material and effective cause of all living beings. He is all-pervasive and visible to all deities.

english translation

sarvajJassarvabhUtAtmA savarbhUtabhavodbhavaH || Aste sarvagato devo dRzyassarvaizca daivataiH || 70||
