कल्पान्ते चैव संप्राप्तेऽसृजद्रुद्रं हृदः प्रभुः ॥ ततस्समहरत्कृत्स्नं जगत्स्थावरजंगमम् ॥ ६८॥
When the Kalpa came to an end, the lord created Rudra from his heart. Then he annihilated the universe including the mobile and immobile beings.
