यश्च कल्पान्तसमये विश्वं संहरति ध्रुवम् ।। नावध्यो यस्य च भवेत्त्रैलौक्ये सचराचरे ।। १६ ।।

sanskrit

And He who at the end of the Kalpa will certainly destroy the universe. He who is indestructible in the three worlds of moving and nonmoving beings.

english translation

yazca kalpAntasamaye vizvaM saMharati dhruvam || nAvadhyo yasya ca bhavettrailaukye sacarAcare || 16 ||

महेश्वरभुजोत्सृष्टं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ।। निर्ददाह द्रुतं कृत्स्नं निमेषार्द्धान्न संशयः ।। १७ ।।

sanskrit

The three worlds of moving and nonmoving beings were released from the arms of Lord Maheshwa It quickly burned the whole thing in half a minute, no doubt.

english translation

mahezvarabhujotsRSTaM trailokyaM sacarAcaram || nirdadAha drutaM kRtsnaM nimeSArddhAnna saMzayaH || 17 ||

तपःस्थो रुद्रपार्श्वस्थं दृष्टवानहमव्यम् ।। गुह्यमस्त्रं परं चास्य न तुल्यमधिकं क्वचित् ।। १८।।

sanskrit

While performing penance, I saw at the side of Rudra the imperishable highly secret weapon which had no other missile superior or equal to it.

english translation

tapaHstho rudrapArzvasthaM dRSTavAnahamavyam || guhyamastraM paraM cAsya na tulyamadhikaM kvacit || 18||

यत्तच्छूलमिति ख्यातं सर्वलोकेषु शूलिनः ।। विजयाभिधमत्युग्रं सर्वशस्त्रास्त्रनाशकम् ।। १९।।

sanskrit

It was the weapon Vijaya, the trident of the fierce weapon that destroyed all other weapons and missiles.

english translation

yattacchUlamiti khyAtaM sarvalokeSu zUlinaH || vijayAbhidhamatyugraM sarvazastrAstranAzakam || 19||

दारयेद्यन्महीं कृत्स्नां शोषयेद्यन्महोदधिम् ।। पातयेदखिलं ज्योतिश्चक्रं यन्नात्र संशयः ।। २०।।

sanskrit

There is no doubt that it could pierce through the entire earth, dry up the big ocean and cause all the luminary bodies to fall.

english translation

dArayedyanmahIM kRtsnAM zoSayedyanmahodadhim || pAtayedakhilaM jyotizcakraM yannAtra saMzayaH || 20||
