कदाचित्कुशपुष्पाणि समिधं नयति स्वयम् ॥ सखीभ्यां स्थानसंस्कारं कुर्वती न्यवसत्तदा ॥४६॥
Sometimes she brought Kuśa grass, flowers and sacrificial twigs. Sometimes, assisted by her maids, she scubbed (scrubbed?) and cleaned the place.
english translation
kadAcitkuzapuSpANi samidhaM nayati svayam ॥ sakhIbhyAM sthAnasaMskAraM kurvatI nyavasattadA ॥46॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकदाचिन्नियता गेहे स्थिता चन्द्रभृतो भ्रृशम् ॥ वीक्षंती विस्मयामास सकामा चन्द्रशेखरम् ॥४७॥
Sometimes she stayed in the house of the moon-crescent lord, pure and holy. Sometimes she used to gaze at the lord lovingly and with surprise.

kadAcinniyatA gehe sthitA candrabhRto bhrRzam ॥ vIkSaMtI vismayAmAsa sakAmA candrazekharam ॥47॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्तप्तेन भूतेशस्तां निस्संगां परिस्थिताम् ॥ सोऽचिंतयत्तदा वीक्ष्य भूतदेहे स्थितेति च ॥४८॥।
Then, the great Lord Bhutesha (Shiva), after observing her detachment and withdrawn state, began to contemplate deeply. He thought to himself that she had taken her form and was now established in the body of the being.

tatastaptena bhUtezastAM nissaMgAM paristhitAm ॥ so'ciMtayattadA vIkSya bhUtadehe sthiteti ca ॥48॥।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनाग्रहीद्गिरिशः कालीं भार्यार्थे निकटे स्थिताम् ॥ महालावण्यनिचयां मुनीनामपि मोहिनीम् ॥ ४९ ॥
The great Lord Girish (Shiva), seeing Kali standing near him for the purpose of fulfilling a task, did not try to hold or restrain her. She was the embodiment of immense beauty, so captivating that even the great rishis (sages) were mesmerized by her charm.

nAgrahIdgirizaH kAlIM bhAryArthe nikaTe sthitAm ॥ mahAlAvaNyanicayAM munInAmapi mohinIm ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमहादेवः पुनर्दृष्ट्वा तथा तां संयतेद्रियाम् ॥ स्वसेवने रतां नित्यं सदयस्समचिंतयत् ॥ 2-3-13-५० ॥
On seeing her with perfect control over her sense-organs and engrossed in serving Him always, the lord mercifully thought.
