काली सखीभ्यां सहिता प्रत्यहं चंद्रशेखरम् ॥ सेवमाना महादेवं गमनागमने स्थिता ॥ ४१ ॥
Pārvatī, along with her maids, continued her daily service to the moon-crested lord, coming and going without any hindrance.

प्रक्षाल्य चरणौ शंभोः पपौ तच्चरणोदकम् ॥ वह्निशौचैन वस्त्रेण चक्रे तद्गात्रमार्जनम् ॥४२॥
She washed Śiva’s feet and drank that holy water. With a cloth heated in fire she wiped his body.

षोडशेनोपचारेण संपूज्य विधिवद्धरम् ॥ पुनःपुनः सुप्रणम्य ययौ नित्यं पितुर्गृहम् ॥ ४३ ॥
After worshipping Him with sixteen types of offerings duly, and bowing to Him repeatedly she used to return to her father’s abode.

एवं संसेवमानायां शंकरं ध्यानतत्परम् ॥ व्यतीयाय महान्कालश्शिवाया मुनिसत्तम ॥ ४४ ॥
O excellent sage, a long time elapsed as she continued her service to Him who was engrossed in meditation.

कदाचित्सहिता काली सखीभ्यां शंकराश्रमे ॥ वितेने सुंदरं गानं सुतालं स्मरवर्द्धनम् ॥ ४५ ॥
Sometimes accompanied by her maids, she sang exquisite songs of good note that increased love in the hermitage of Siva.
