योगी नग्नोऽगुणोऽकामी मातृतातविवर्जितः ॥ अमानोऽशिववेषश्च पतिरस्याः किलेदृशः ॥ ११ ॥
Her husband will be a naked Yogin, without any qualities. He will be free from lust. He will have neither mother nor father. He will be indifferent to honours. His dress and manners will be inauspicious.
english translation
yogI nagno'guNo'kAmI mAtRtAtavivarjitaH ॥ amAno'zivaveSazca patirasyAH kiledRzaH ॥ 11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript॥ ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्ते हि सत्यं मत्त्वा च दम्पती ॥ मेना हिमाचलश्चापि दुःखितौ तौ बभूवतुः ॥ १२ ॥
Brahmā said: On hearing your words the couple thought them true. Both Menā and Himavat were much distressed.
english translation
॥ brahmovAca ॥ ityAkarNya vacaste hi satyaM mattvA ca dampatI ॥ menA himAcalazcApi duHkhitau tau babhUvatuH ॥ 12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवाकर्ण्यवचस्ते हि तादृशं जगदम्बिका ॥। लक्षणैस्तं शिवं मत्त्वा जहर्षाति मुने हृदि ॥ १३॥
O sage, on hearing your words, and inferring that indications referred to Śiva, Pārvatī’s joy knew no bounds.
english translation
zivAkarNyavacaste hi tAdRzaM jagadambikA ॥। lakSaNaistaM zivaM mattvA jaharSAti mune hRdi ॥ 13॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन मृषा नारदवचस्त्विति संचिन्त्य सा शिवा ॥ स्नेहं शिवपदद्वन्द्वे चकाराति हृदा तदा ॥ १४॥
Convinced that Nārada’s words could not be false, Śivā turned her mind and love to Śiva’s feet.

na mRSA nAradavacastviti saMcintya sA zivA ॥ snehaM zivapadadvandve cakArAti hRdA tadA ॥ 14॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउवाच दुःखितः शैलस्त्वान्तदा हृदि नारद ॥ कमुपायं मुने कुर्यामतिदुःखमभूदिति ॥ १५॥
The lord of mountains who was very much grieved in mind spoke to you, “O Nārada, O sage, what is the way out? What shall I do? A great misery has befallen us”.
english translation
uvAca duHkhitaH zailastvAntadA hRdi nArada ॥ kamupAyaM mune kuryAmatiduHkhamabhUditi ॥ 15॥
