मरीच्यादीन् स्वपुत्रांश्च मानसानपि संस्मर ॥ तैः सार्द्धं दक्षनिलयं गमिष्ये सगणो विधे ॥ १६ ॥
Remember your mental as well as physical sons—Marīci and others. O Brahmā, with all my attendants and with them I shall go to Dakṣa’s house.
english translation
marIcyAdIn svaputrAMzca mAnasAnapi saMsmara ॥ taiH sArddhaM dakSanilayaM gamiSye sagaNo vidhe ॥ 16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्याज्ञप्तोहमीशेन लोकाचारपरेण ह ॥ संस्मरं नारदं त्वां च मरीच्यदीन्सुतांस्तथा ॥ १७ ॥
Brahmā said: Thus commanded by Śiva following the conventions of the world, I remembered you, Nārada and the other sons—Marīci etc.

brahmovAca ॥ ityAjJaptohamIzena lokAcArapareNa ha ॥ saMsmaraM nAradaM tvAM ca marIcyadInsutAMstathA ॥ 17 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्समागतास्सर्वे मानसास्तनयास्त्वया ॥ मम स्मरणमात्रेण हृष्टास्ते द्रुतमादरात् ॥ १८ ॥
Immediately after I remembered them, all of my mental sons and you arrived in a happy mood.
english translation
tatassamAgatAssarve mAnasAstanayAstvayA ॥ mama smaraNamAtreNa hRSTAste drutamAdarAt ॥ 18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविष्णुस्समागतस्तूर्णं स्मृतो रुद्रेण शैवराट् ॥ सस्वसैन्यः कमलया गरुडारूढं एव च ॥ १९॥
Remembered by Śiva, Viṣṇu, the foremost of Śiva’s devotees, came there along with the Goddess Lakṣmī seated on Garuḍa॥ 1॥ and accompanied by his army.

viSNussamAgatastUrNaM smRto rudreNa zaivarAT ॥ sasvasainyaH kamalayA garuDArUDhaM eva ca ॥ 19॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअध चैत्रसिते पक्षे नक्षत्रे भगदैवते ॥ त्रयोदश्यां दिने भानौ निगच्छत्स महेश्वरः ॥2-2-18-२०॥
In the bright half of the month of Caitra (March-April) on the thirteenth day when the star was Uttarā Phalguni on a Sunday, lord Śiva started.
