तस्मिन्महेन्द्रस्य गृहे महाबलो महामना निर्जितलोक एकराट्॥ रेमेऽभिवंद्यांघ्रियुगः सुरादिभिः प्रतापितैरूर्जितचंडशासनः॥२४॥
The powerful Daitya of a lofty mind who reigned as the sole ruler after conquering all the worlds sported in the palace of lord Indra. The gods and others who were overwhelmed by his power worshipped the pair of his feet. He exercised a stern and fierce authority.
