विसर्जयामास रणाय देवान्विश्रांतवाहानथ तत्पिनाकी ॥ युद्धे स्थिरं लब्धजयं प्रधानं संप्रेषितास्ते तु महेश्वरेण ॥ ९ ॥
When the gods had taken adequate rest along with their vehicles, the trident-bearing lord Śiva sent them to the battle ground with the steady and chief resolve on victory.
