तस्मिन्क्षणे युध्यमानाश्च सर्वे ब्रह्मेन्द्रविष्ण्वर्कशशांकमुख्याः॥ आसन्निगीर्णा विधसेन तेन सैन्ये निगीर्णेऽस्ति तु वीरको हि ॥११॥
In a trice all of them including Brahmā, Indra, Viṣṇu, the sun and the moon were swallowed by Vighasa. When the armies were devoured, only Vīraka was left behind.
english translation
tasminkSaNe yudhyamAnAzca sarve brahmendraviSNvarkazazAMkamukhyAH॥ AsannigIrNA vidhasena tena sainye nigIrNe'sti tu vIrako hi ॥11॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविहाय संग्रामशिरोगुहां तां प्रविश्य शर्वं प्रणिपत्य मूर्ध्ना ॥ प्रोवाच दुःखाभिहतः स्मरारिं सुवीरको वाग्ग्मिवरोऽथ वृत्तम् ॥१२॥
Leaving off the battle front Vīraka entered the cavern, bowed to Śiva. The eloquent but distressed Vīraka then acquainted the destroyer of Kāma with all the details.
english translation
vihAya saMgrAmaziroguhAM tAM pravizya zarvaM praNipatya mUrdhnA ॥ provAca duHkhAbhihataH smarAriM suvIrako vAggmivaro'tha vRttam ॥12॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिगीर्णैते सैन्यं विधसदितिजेनाद्य भगवन्निगीर्णोऽसौ विष्णुस्त्रिभुवनगुरुर्दैत्यदलनः ॥ निगीर्णौ चन्द्रार्कौद्रुहिणमघवानौ च वरदौ निगीर्णास्ते सर्वे यमवरुणवाताश्च धनदः ॥ १३ ॥
O lord, your army has been devoured by the Daitya Vighasa. Viṣṇu, the preceptor and elder to the three worlds and the destroyer of Daityas, has been devoured. The moon and the sun, Brahmā and Indra, the bestowers of boons, have been devoured. All these, Yama, Varuṇa, Vāyu and Kubera have been devoured.
english translation
nigIrNaite sainyaM vidhasaditijenAdya bhagavannigIrNo'sau viSNustribhuvanagururdaityadalanaH ॥ nigIrNau candrArkaudruhiNamaghavAnau ca varadau nigIrNAste sarve yamavaruNavAtAzca dhanadaH ॥ 13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्थितोस्म्येकः प्रह्वः किमिह करणीयं भवतु मे अजेयो दैत्येन्द्रः प्रमुदितमना दैत्यसहितः ॥ १४ ॥
I, the humble one, alone am left behind. What is it that I have to do now? The lord of Daityas along with the Daityas is invincible and hence rejoiced.
english translation
sthitosmyekaH prahvaH kimiha karaNIyaM bhavatu me ajeyo daityendraH pramuditamanA daityasahitaH ॥ 14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअजेयं त्वां प्राप्तः प्रतिभयमना मारुतगतिस्स्वयं विष्णुर्देवः कनककशिपुं कश्यपसुतम् ॥ नखैस्तीक्ष्णैर्भक्त्या तदपिभगवञ्छिष्टवशगः प्रवृत्तस्त्रैलोक्य विधमतु मलं व्यात्तवदनः ॥ १५ ॥
Viṣṇu the lord who became invincible after tearing off Hiraṇyakaśipu the son of Kaśyapa with his claws, had the speed of wind and a terrifying demeanour. He opened his mouth wide and began to blow of the three worlds although the lord was subservient to the good.

ajeyaM tvAM prAptaH pratibhayamanA mArutagatissvayaM viSNurdevaH kanakakazipuM kazyapasutam ॥ nakhaistIkSNairbhaktyA tadapibhagavaJchiSTavazagaH pravRttastrailokya vidhamatu malaM vyAttavadanaH ॥ 15 ॥
