प्रह्लाद उवाच॥ एष प्रविष्टो भगवाननंतो नृसिंहमात्रो नगरं त्वदंतः ॥ निवृत्य युद्धाच्छ रणं प्रयाहि पश्यामि सिंहस्य करालमूर्त्तिम् ॥2.5.43.३०॥

Prahlāda said: Is it the universe-formed lord who has come as the majestic lion? The infinite lord in the form of Man-lionhas come within your city. Desist from fight and seek refuge in him. I see the terrible form of the lion.

english translation

prahlAda uvAca॥ eSa praviSTo bhagavAnanaMto nRsiMhamAtro nagaraM tvadaMtaH ॥ nivRtya yuddhAccha raNaM prayAhi pazyAmi siMhasya karAlamUrttim ॥2.5.43.30॥
