स्वाभाविकं च तद्वैरमसुराणां पराभवम् ॥ विजयं निर्जराणां च जीवसाहाय्यमेव च ॥६॥
He expatiated on the natural enmity of the two, the invariable defeat of the Asuras, the victory of the gods and the help rendered by Bṛhaspati.
english translation
svAbhAvikaM ca tadvairamasurANAM parAbhavam ॥ vijayaM nirjarANAM ca jIvasAhAyyameva ca ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततस्स सम्मतं कृत्वा सुरैस्सर्वैस्समुत्सवम् ॥ दानवाद्यसुराणां तमधिपं विदधे गुरुः ॥७॥
With the consent of the Asuras, the preceptor Śukra made him the emperor of Dānavas, Asuras and others with jubilant festivities.
english translation
tatassa sammataM kRtvA suraissarvaissamutsavam ॥ dAnavAdyasurANAM tamadhipaM vidadhe guruH ॥7॥

The delighted Asuras were highly joyous. They offered him presents lovingly.

The son of Dambha, the heroic and valorous Śaṅkhacūḍa shone as the Emperor of Asuras.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptस सेनां महतीं कर्षन्दैत्यदानवरक्षसाम् ॥ रथमास्थाय तरसा जेतुं शक्रपुरीं ययौ ॥2-5-29-१०॥
Taking a vast army of Daityas, Dānavas and Rākṣasas and seated in his chariot, he marched quickly to the city of Indra with the intention to conquer it.
