अव्याहताज्ञस्वर्वत्र जलंधर उदग्रधीः ॥ निर्जिताखिलदैत्यारिस्स यदाह शृणुष्व तत् ॥ २६ ॥
He is of exalted intellect. His behest has never been defied. He has defeated all the enemies of Asuras. Please listen to what he says.
english translation
avyAhatAjJasvarvatra jalaMdhara udagradhIH ॥ nirjitAkhiladaityArissa yadAha zRNuSva tat ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजलंधर उवाच ॥ कस्मात्त्वया मम पिता मथितस्सागरोऽद्रिणा ॥ नीतानि सर्वरत्नानि पितुर्मे देवताधम ॥ २७ ॥
Jalandhara said: O base god, why was my father, the ocean, churned by you with the mountain? Why were all the jewels of my father taken away?
english translation
jalaMdhara uvAca ॥ kasmAttvayA mama pitA mathitassAgaro'driNA ॥ nItAni sarvaratnAni piturme devatAdhama ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउचितं न कृतं तेऽद्य तानि शीघ्रं प्रयच्छ मे ॥ ममायाहि विचार्येत्थं शरणं दैवतैस्सह ॥ २८ ॥
What you have done is not proper. Return all of them to me immediately. Pondering over this, come along with the gods and seek refuge in me.
english translation
ucitaM na kRtaM te'dya tAni zIghraM prayaccha me ॥ mamAyAhi vicAryetthaM zaraNaM daivataissaha ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्यथा ते भयं भूरि भविष्यति सुराधम ॥ राज्यविध्वंसनं चैव सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीम्यहम् ॥२९॥
Otherwise, O base god, you will have a great cause to fear. You will run the risk of the annihilation of your kingdom.
english translation
anyathA te bhayaM bhUri bhaviSyati surAdhama ॥ rAjyavidhvaMsanaM caiva satyametadbravImyaham ॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ इति दूतवचः श्रुत्वा विस्मितस्त्रिदशाधिपः ॥ उवाच तं स्मरन्निन्द्रो भयरोषसमन्वितः ॥ 2-5-15-३० ॥
Sanatkumāra said: On hearing the words of the messenger, Indra, the the lord of the gods, was bewildered. Remembering the previous incidents he was frightened as well as angry. He spoke to him thus.

sanatkumAra uvAca ॥ iti dUtavacaH zrutvA vismitastridazAdhipaH ॥ uvAca taM smarannindro bhayaroSasamanvitaH ॥ 2-5-15-30 ॥
